And for the record there is no such thing as south azerbaijan and many places in that area specially near Turkish border have Kurdish majority.

And for the information the number of qashqai people are less than 1 milion not that 2 million mentioned here and you are welcome finding 20000 people among tham who rather speak Turkish compared to Persian.

• Turks had ruled Southern Azerbaijan for centuries without any oppression or destruction on other societies as Persians today still speak their own language among their own culture just like other societies lived in harmony back then; however, why Can we not say the same for the Turks (and other societies) and Turk language and culture today under a very short time of Pesian ruling since 1900s to today?

They didn't ruled there for centuries ,it was ruled by Turks for several decade it ruled by iran central government for centuries . and that government had Turkish ancestry but adopted persian language and culture and that say a lot.

By the way people of Azerbaijan speaking Azeri which is heavily influenced by Turkish instead of the original language of those people says a lot about the type of ruling in those decades.
