VW's China Partner Plans to Assemble Cars in Pakistan in 2016

ya, let's hope PakSuzuki doesn't play foul, they wouldn't sit back and watch Al-Hajj Motors take away their entire market.
But keep fingers crossed for the Germans.
Pak Suzuki can try but as long as auto policy favors the existing 3,not much can be done but it seems that even the government is tired of the monopoly here thats why there's a chance that the new auto policy will have incentives for the new entrants

They could easily bribe the government.
If FAW leaves Pakistan, foul play will be involved. That's a confirmed prediction. Remember how Hyundai left?.

Exactly, and if we get another Zardari?.... Personally speaking, the government needs to let private players get into the market, remember Adam motors? Maybe give them a few concessions and re-open their factory, not for the Revo, but for the Adam Boltoro. That thing can do wonders if marketed properly.

Just one government contract would have saved that company but Shauqat Aziz didn't fulfill his promise and Adam sadly couldn't thrive.

I would've bought the Boltoro, for nice leisure drives in GB.

Doors should be opened for all companies for healthy competetion , and better car safety and less usage on oil

I have to disagree a bit on that one, considering it's entering the Pakistani market to take on the Vitz and Mira, it beats them both and even the Cultus, here's a review of the FAW V2.
Driven: FAW V2, the latest car by FAW Pakistan

Have U seen there cars?? Specially V2??? I have seen all there products inside out, because we went to purchase there, but after visit we changed our mind and went for Wagon-R.

Who says FAW cars are Shit just look at these Beauties

They have good products, but the problem is that in Pakistan its not FAW company its their JV Al-HajjFAW which have pathetic mind set and business skills when it comes to cars.

Heavy vehicles,Light vehicles,Chinese cars - Al Haj Faw motors Pakistan

Yes I have, and they are not under powered either, a 1300cc producing 87 BHP, whilst the car weighing a ton.
Now EK Wagon, how's it going for you, knowing your car has no spare parts? You didn't do your homework properly, boy it goes down hill from here. (By no parts I mean scarce). Importing cars comes with a price. Hence I went for a rolla than a Bluebird Syphly.
