VT-1A MBT for export

If you look at the spaces between the wheels, it is more closer to Type 99 than type 96. However, it is actually an evolution of MBT-2000/ scale down version of Type 99. The fact that it looks like AK also pointed to this direction. Also note that the driver's seat is at the centre rather than on the left side.

The days of tank battles are over. Its just a huge waste of time, money and resources to invest in tanks. Better invest in helicopter gunships. Future battles will be fought in the air.
They've been saying that since the helicopter gunship was introduced in the 60's. Yet the tank remains the undisputed king of ground battle, so much so that they even begin seeing action in Afghanistan.

Russian media said it had a lot of rust. Tanks a lot of rust, it may test the prototype. All the Chinese test prototype has rust? It looks like a small guy. Western tanks look stronger. Sense of security is very important.

Without tanks, you won't be able to 'hold' on the ground. Tanks will remain as the badboys of the battlefield.
