Shahbaz Sharif is very famous among general PML voters and among the PML leaders. he did tremandous job when he was chief minister of punjab. he kept law and order and there are a lot of work done in his era. todays Chief minister Pervaiz Elihi and Governor Khalid Maqbool tries to copy him. he is a good administator. i lives in Faisalabad, i know what was the situation of Faisalabad before his Govt. no road of Faisalabad was in good condition before his govt. but when the musharraf dismissed his govt All the major roads of Faisalabad were in good condition.

Hi Amunhotep,

If Musharraf stays in power, then Shaukat Aziz or somebody with a corporate background would be the next pm. PPP has to have 2/3 majority to change the constitution for the 3 rd term and same goes for Nawaz.

Now, to some Shaukat aziz maybe a puppet----but if you have any experience working in a big corporation in america at corporate level----corporate executives don't have to be all visible at all times. As we are used to see prime ministers with all their pomp and glory, somebody different looks out of place.

Both Musharraf and Shaukat have two different jobs under the present set-up and the nice thing about this set-up is that they are not on a collision course that you might see under a different set-up. So, calling Shaukat Aziz a puppet is a meaningless statement.

USA i putting pressure on Musharraf to form a power sharing deal with ppp. now thats why BB came to Pakistan. she wants to be a PM. she will not allow any other person from ppp to become PM. if she allows this then his political career may be in danger. thats why she is insisting that particular section of constitutiuon should be removed which disable a person to be PM third time. on the other hand with current setup Pervaiz Elihi is struggling hard to prove that he is the person wanted by Musharraf.
