(VOV) - On April 7, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong arrived in Beijing, beginning his official four-day visit to China at the invitation of Chinese Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping.
Distinguished guests welcoming Party chief Trong at the Beijing International Airport included Wang Jiarui, member of the Chinese Party Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Hong Xiaoyong, and Vietnam Ambassador to China Nguyen Van Tho, among others.

An official welcome ceremony for Trong and his delegation is to take place at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing later the same day.

Official statistics show that the combined imports and exports of Vietnam with China jumped 17% on-year in 2014 to nearly US$59 billion.

Vietnam’s exports to its northern neighbour rose 12.6% to US$14.91 billion, while its imports from China shot up 18.8% to US$43.87 billion. Both nations has set a US$100 billion bilateral trade target by 2017

Over recent years, bilateral cooperation has progressed across a variety of fields- defence-security, education, culture, sports, health care, science-technology and cross-cultural exchanges.

actually the party chief is the rank highest man in the country, followed by the prime minister and parliament speaker. the prime minister holds the executive power, but he follows the guide line set by the party chief.

So what's your PM's party position?
the prime minister is a man of pro-US faction, while the party chief pro-China. but since the oil incident, the relation between the commies has cooled down at lot. they haven´t spoken to each other since a year.

Do you admire your VCP leader?

No, I mean what's your PM's job in the VCP, or his rank in VCP. Like our PM, he's also the member of politburo's standing committee of CPC.

no, I am a man of pro-US faction. I said on this forum once: vietnam future lies in the western world: america and europe. not in china.

I wish there will be more people like you in Vietnam, so you are hopeless.

the PM is a member of the mighty central committee. he has good friends and allies there. the media speculates he wants to become the party chief next year when the term of the current party chief ends.

thing will be interesting, then he will control all of powers in his hand. like xi jinping. there is a plan to turn the central committee into a senate, the second instance of parliament.

He lives in Germany now.

Rank in VCP:
General Secretary > President > Minister of Defence > PM > Chairman.
But it doesn't matter. PM is the man who control all "actions".

How can Vietnam future lies in western Europe and American when Vietnam/Sino Trade shot up to nearly USD100 billion exchange? Clearly the economy hearbeat of VIetnam will ally closely with China.

US a decline nation can't offer much incentives beside some ill advise which benefit nothing for vietnam.

It's best interest for China to keep Vietnam poor. the people will beg to be part of China and start their own color revolution.

China will be day teach the vietnamese a lesson on economy power. The vietnam strategy is simple, they think they can continue have a healthy growing trade with China while politically and military against China.

Precisely a surge of MNC assembly company setup plant in vietnam is due to its close proximity to its supplier from China. Shall China one day decide to shut off border to vietnam and setup custom excuse and heavily delay cross border shipment. It will make those MNC think twice about investing in vietnam with VCP unstable r/s with CCP.

  • Intend to keep our people poor.
  • "Teach" - aka attack - us both on military and economy.
  • Shut off border to make our traders and famers to be bankrupt.
You help to gain our patriotism more and more.
