I am coming from our own Islamic traditions where minorities and their place of worships are protected under Muslim rule. That is the reason Caliph Umer didn't enter the church in Jeursalem for the fear that Muslims will build Mosque over it.

We Pakistanis know more about history, bloodshed, vengeance, revenge, wars. Millions of us were massacred for the creation of Pakistan. The Sikhs, literally butchered our defenceless people who were travelling to get into Pakistan from India. Yet we keep their holy places in Pakistan safe and sound and let them be in charge of their places of worship.

Just play intelligent in this day and age, make friends with those whom you share common enemy.

That would be pure madness. Turkey needs to play both sides and leverage as much as it can out of them for its own benefit. It is doing exactly that at the moment.

Madness is when you are allowing an open enemy of current rulers of Turkey , an invitation to meddle in internal affairs. That is what happened in recent failed regime change attempt.
