Visiting Mishmi (Deng) tribe sitting on China India border and ask them how they think of India

China's dictatorship is like you have millions of highly qualified leaders of various levels who have decades administrative experiences competing for top leadership positions based on their merits and past job performance. Indian and US democracy is like political parties find a random guy on the street who has little or absolutely no experience and make him a president.

There is no perfect politics system. Both China and USA politics have advantages and disadvantages.

China's dictatorship is for now benevolent, who know another Kim Jong Il could ascend and not vacate the throne and keep people oppressed. At some point people of China should ask for their rights.

Indian politics is still at very low level. When you see the policemen use sticks to beat the people without face mask, kinds of physical punishment on the street, this country's politcs is far away from good example. The very weird thing is that most Indian accept to be treated this way. Okay, I can just say your country your rules.

There is no 'democracy' in poor countries, not even closely. We have tens of or hundred countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and elsewhere around the global claiming to be 'democracy' and we all know what those countries are like... And india is just another one of such country...

They don't do it for everyone. They do it to unruly kind who don't follow rules. When Section 144 (curfew) is imposed, you are not supposed to come out. In China they put you jail for few weeks. We just hit them with sticks and get them back to their houses.

And I don't support it either, but we have to see it from the police perspective. They are already toiling at a pandemic time and our people needlessly complicate their jobs.

You can think about some other methods rather than simply beat them. For example, make the except applications for the people who has to come out, prepare face mask for the people without it on the street, or enlighten them the curfew, convince them to go home.
But they say nothing, they just beat the passengers by sticks.

Democracy is very complicated, so far I have not found a perfect example. The countries you mentioned just simplify democracy as one man one vote.

There is no convincing them. They are not doing out of ignorance but they did so deliberately. Do you know the amount of awareness created through television, radio on the subject? They even used speakers warning about perils of coming out and that section 144 in use and such. Yet these people would come out endangering themselves and others. Police could not arrest and get closer as they themselves were worried about contraction. Section 144 (curfew) itself is about forceful containment. Police were doing it per rules. They would never do such a thing under normal circumstances. They would loose their jobs with just a simple social media post by any standers by.

China”s system prevents that from happening, besides Mao he founded PRC who didnt have to go through China's draconian leadership selection system,.all leaders after him selected through this established selection system served China well.

Do you actually study your own graphs? India in 2015 had the same real GDP as China in 2004 per your own graph. You are betting on India not growing as fast from here on. Thst is just your assumption. But clearly as of now we are atleast at 2005 China level.

Yes, China in 1960's had 22 cities with metro. Sure they were buying 3 milion cars. 131 million people flying domestically every year. Clearly they were all missing in the 1990's video. Majority were riding bicycles on that day for fun. Don't be an idiot.

This is the comment I replied to. And posted 1990 video to.

Do you see? or are you playing blind?
Oh I read them just fine. It's just your delusion that is blinding you. Since you keep insisting you're at where we were in 2005, let's dig into it:
  • In 2005, China generated 2300 TWh worth of electricity. You're generating 1750 TWh currently.
  • In 2005, China produced 1.15 billion tons of cement. You're producing 337 million ton currently.
  • In 2005, China produced 300 million tons of steel. You're producing 110 million tons currently.
  • In 2005, China had 770 billion dollars in foreign reserves. You have 505 billions currently.
  • In 2005, China exported 790 billion dollars worth of goods. You're exporting 590 billion currently.
  • In 2005, China built 405km worth of high speed rail line. You haven't built any to date.
Something tells me that your GDP calculations doesn't measure up to reality.

To catch up to China, you need a higher growth rate. It's basic mathematics. You can't catch up if you're consistently slower. You're not catching up to 2005 (which you can't even do), but 2020.

Between 2001 to 2007, China grew over 10% year on year. You didn't even crack 8.5% in your best years. Even in the current pandemic, we're growing about 2% while you're shrinking 10.3% according to IMF.

The result will inevitably widen the gap, not bridge it. In 1985, the two countries were roughly equal in terms of GDP. Today we're six times larger than you AND accelerating further. Therefore, it's quite safe to assume you're not in any position to touch us economically.

When calculating how many years India is behind China, Indians always based their maths on how fast China develops during the past 4 decades, as if India is another China coming.

Visiting Deng tribe sitting on the borderline by a vlogger

Most Deng people live in Indian side, the lady being interviewed in the video says she still have some close relatives living on the Indian side, but they have no contact with each other and neither sides allow cross border family visits.
