The Pakistani army, in the last 10 years especially, has provided more civil services in extremism hit regions of KPK and Balochistan than any government ever has, probably even combined. It has gone way beyond its scope of responsibilities while successive governments have sat there twiddling their thumbs.

The army did not crush the TTP by blowing them up, it crushed them by consolidating the State's position in these regions through these civil services and support. This was great foresight on their part.

Pakistan is held back by corruption, ignorance and arrogance upon that ignorance. Not by the religion that encourages man to think about Geology, Biology, Botany, Meteorology, Aerospace, Astronomy/Astrology and many other sciences.

They should collaborate with TRT and send it to them. They have been doing great media projection for Pakistan.

Bhai, you are talking about "LA and Silicon Valley" but you do realize that less than a decade ago these were no go areas littered with land mines. Show me one, just one, other region in the world that had enemies on every side, entire region bleeding and fighting for survival that came out like this?

Civil government is very much there--though it has its inherent problems which need to be fixed.

And still the army does not get recognition nor thanks instead they get abuses hurled at them by this ungrateful nation.Its not the job of the army to build schools or roads its the governments job.
