Bro - my 7yr old would clearly know this and it’s actually in the book. I’d rather people be honest and say - hey you know we’re no saints - that decide to change wordings just so they can massage their inner guilt to sleep. Please. It’s there clearly and google helps.
Behnaaaa all i am asking is stop indoctrinating your 7yr child. Let him grow up with basic fundamental teachings and if it interests him he will learn himself. Quran is the only book in the world that speaks to you while you read it.
So stop forcing your beliefs like a Mullah on me if you cannot prove it by the Book. In the end the Book is all that counts as OUR unifying framework. Its the only reason you can go up to any muslim looking man and say Bro Brathaa Bruuuuudor Brother where is the next railway station while non muslim looking sadly enough will be addressed as Good Sir, excuse me my fair gentleman or YO PEEP My MAN.
So please discuss in a civil manner rather than passing fatwas on fellow people of your own book

No ones forcing their beliefs - it’s in all Abrahamic Faiths. Look I’m not a practicing Person and I’ll say it in the open but I don’t make my own shit up either to suit my needs. If I error that’s a fault on my part and I take up that responsibility but no way would I distort words to suit my desires. Come on man
Why can't they? Think about it, a man is going to invest in a woman as his wife and potential mother of his children, therefore he has every right to know if the girl has been involved in pre-marital relations.Fair enough. But you do agree that Men in general pose this forward
Why are you all arguing with this attention seeker? She's always outraged about something she's read on twitter.

Because a girl who has been involved in sexual relationships before marriage is less likely to be a stable wife and mother. Studies prove this.
No man wants to invest his blood, sweat and tears on such a woman who will not be committed to him and his children.

Because the issue is why should a man know if his potential prospective wife is a virgin or not.i disagree as always lol
the data is about some western country where the concept of marriage is non existent specially in europe and if it werent for tax evasion scheme it would be forgotten as well lol
but seriously major doubts on the system. would you file the divorcees in that same category as more than one sexual partner? divorce is a natural thing just as marriage.
as i said we need to completely redefine the concept of marriage to begin with.
Because the issue is why should a man know if his potential prospective wife is a virgin or not.
Of course, depending on if the man is look for a virgin as his wife than yes he has every right to know because a virgin girl is more likely to be attached to her husband whereas a woman who's been through multiple relationships like changing clothes will not see any reason why she should have to stay committed in this one.
The example of the West I used because it is where women have the complete freedom to do as they wish yet even there they are miserable.
that is highly debatable even by theology as vast as islam
only culture outlines virginity = marriage
theology or religion does not. marriage is about protection of rights as understood by man and woman under 4 witnesses and recognized by the state the appropriate right
muslims claim one of the rights to be virginity
islam makes no such claims Sir
Yes and no. There's a reason why hymens exist, and mere secular explanations devoid of any religious point of view does not give any concrete answer. The holy scriptures speak about marriage for womenfolk which includes divorcees and widows, therefore no point in explicitly mentioning hymen. However, if a Muslim man who has been steadfast and rightfully expects a partner who has not been with an army (sexually active women have remarkably higher count than men), hymen is the primary indicator amongst other small indicators which can provide the proof.
The hymen remains an evolutionary mystery

Feminists think hymen is cause oppression of female sexuality, i.e. they're basically saying it one of those biological features which can unveil a woman's fraud.
@El Sidd and @Desert Fox
Read up on pair-bonding, women lose their ability to pair-bond if they have had one to many partners.
Promiscuous women who have had Lord knows how many partners before finally settling down...never really settles down. That's why there's a key emphasis on chastity and virginity for men and more so for women.
Uncle, are you high?i have already said if thats a deciding factor for men. they have the right to ask for such information but then the woman has full rights to deny it or comply or present her own demands to counter it.
it would be an addition to the clause of nikkah the social contract and nothing else.
but why go that road is my concern. because in its bare form marriage is then not different to prostitution done legally?
