Maulvi Ishaq Nohri incited the violence. He gathered thousand +people to attack poor man shop & home.

According to local police, a probe would be carried out; the vet was taken to a safe location after the unrest broke out in the Pakistani town.

A Hindu veterinarian was taken into custody on Monday in Pakistan’s Sindh province, after the head cleric of the local mosque, Maulvi Ishaq Nohri, filed a police complaint accusing the vet of committing blasphemy, SAMAA TV reported.

Ramesh Kumar, who was working as a vet, was accused of using pages of a holy book to wrap medicine, according to local reports.

The punishment for such actions in Pakistan ranges from three months in jail and a fine up to a life sentence.

In response to the incident, unrest broke out as protesters started to set fire to shops owned by Hindus and burn tyres.

I think the cops need to take the milvi in for questioning. There is something behind this story

I think u can be accused of blasphemy tomorrow. Fact is where is the proof.
Did prophet Muhammed pbuh behave like this. People threw stones at him threw garbage on him and even animal intestines when in sajood. He educated them. Today people like you want to punish them. I suggest you try to be a little like your prophet pbuh and show mercy first so that Allah shows you mercy. And it doesnt matter if you are in Pakistan or the west. Our religion must not be hijacked by jahils
