If those 66% want to go out, they surely can. Did we ever stop anyone from doing it? No.

If you want the referendum to be held, then kindly ask Pakistan to withdraw from her part of Kashmir. Also ask them why did they gift a part of Kashmir to China if they were concerned for the people of Kashmir.

Once they are out of Kashmir, we'll think about referendum.

Kashmiris don't want to join Pak: Survey.

NEW DELHI: Virtually nobody in Jammu and Kashmir, not even in Srinagar or Anantnag, wants the Valley to go to Pakistan, says an opinion poll conducted in the state last week.

The poll also says that the National Conference has a lead over other parties in the current Assembly elections.

The poll conducted by AC Nielsen said while nobody in Srinagar, Anantnag or Udhampur was in favour of the Valley joining Pakistan, one per cent in Jammu wanted so.

A total of 574 people were interviewed between September 12 and 16 in Srinagar, Anantnag, Jammu and Udhampur. However, the survey did not cover people from rural areas.

I searched a lot but could not find theofficial HT article/survey report and so,I have asked the Bangladeshi(?) member to provide me(us) the official link
