Second Lieutnant seems to have been done away with. Wonder when.

Long back..in late 90s.(1999 i think)

He will be honorary Lieutenant rather then real one if he becomes one.

Army have not promoted him for last 6 years despite of the fact that he have won 3 commonwealth games gold medals, Asian Games medals and silver medal in the world championship.

Army says they can't give him more promotions and rewards, Ministry of defense have regressing rules and Army can only reward him if the ministry makes such rules.

After winning bronze medal Vijender singh became DSP (Deputy superintendent of police) but even after silver medal Vijay Kumar Sharma is JCO

What about the CWG, Asian Games and world Championship medals of last 6 years??????????

They are gone waste??????

No reward or money or promotion?????

Honarary Lieutanats is a different issue...Its when a Subeidar Major retired after doing good job he got the Honaray rank on retirement whereas in this case it will be a serving guy so cant be Honarary.
