Here are few reasons why. These reasons will occur a year before election. It is best time for gov't to perform good stuff. For example, in Canada, when gov't has positive rating, they call in mid term elections. Elections are due in 2018.

Lahore getting metro train, expanding into other areas. That means Punjab assembly will be kept PMLn majority. Estimated time of completion is early 2017.
Many power projects also ending in 2017, reducing load shedding vastly.
New Islamabad airport completing next year.
Lahore and Sialkot airport improvement (Airports largely come under federal)
Security has vastly improved. Recent terror attacks have been failing and big reduction in sucide bombing. And it's only getting better.
New motorways being constructed.
Karachi metro bus service, with major help of federal gov't


This is my opinion: Inl't Cricket returning to Lahore right by election time.

Electricity is a big big issue. No matter how corrupt PMLn is, if load shedding is reduced, people will vote PMLn. Why? There will be more jobs, more entertainment, people staying at comfort of home than going out and complaining.

This is why Imran is afraid. He has said that chairman can't last more than 2 terms. So if he isn't next PM, he'd have to step down. Now, as conditions in country are improving and there is no sign of metro train in Peshawar, PTI is in big trouble and wishing for a midterm election. Many news analyst, such as on Geo Munib, have been saying that Imran may not be contesting 2018 due to health issues.

These all Azadi thing remind of 1990s when Benazir Bhutto was doing same thing to Nawaz Sharif. Nothing has changed in Pakistan, only faces have changed.

PPP and PMLn are more mature now. That's why both are against derailment of democracy. Sure sindh isn't in Islamabad, but they have Sindh provincial gov't, which they wouldn't want to lose.

Well i think IK just lost my respect .

I thought him to be a sensible person but he proved to be wrong. Leaders have flexibity , they lead the nation out of crisis not worsen them , which is what he did.

We are in state of war and IK is rallying up against the GOVT. He has divided the whole nation on the very day we should be united and celebrating , remembering the people who have given their lives , wealth and everything for the sake of this country.

I wish he could learn how to become a good leader.

Exactly we all should be united against the enemies of Pakistan , with whom we are fighting on day to day bases. We shouldnt be divided at all.

Giving vote is another matter .They can be bought , manupilated e.t.c.

Just an advice : Try to respect others if you want respect in return. Jis tarha kay beh hain they are our leaders (IK, Nawaz, Zardari). Kindy change your dp people might find your it offensive.
