Specs in the article. The phones are direct competitor to Xiaomi and other phones in the low segment. The company has a 5 million installed capacity, should not be a problem to make 10 million or more if demand is there.

Always try to bring "Xiaomi" in... OK, A beggar always want to be related to some billionaire...
How is your "Xiaomi killer" doing in india?? Do you have any sales figures? Is Xiaomi killed by it??

Why beggar? Click on it. It is the article in German: “Vinsmart pushes for Europe. New, cheap competition for Xiaomi & Co.”

What sales figures? The company just launched products in Europe. Wait for some months or until next year. No clue if the company wants to enter India.

Sure, every beggar has a dream to become a millionaire...

And you forget your "Mobiistar" which you boasted so hard several months ago??

Vingroup has recently purchased 51% of BQ, a tier-3 smartphone vendor headquartered in Madrid, Spain.

Haha, a rebadged BQ phone is now called as vietnam phone in Spain. A great example to showcase the tech advancement of vn and entertain its people. I love this brag!

Wait, how is the performance of BQ in her home country Spain? LESS THAN 3% in mkt. share !!
No wonder the research company Strategy Analytics called BQ as a tier-3 smartphone vendor in Spain.

Viet, wait and see rather than bragging. We all have seen how bragging Indian is and what it can lead to.

Until Vsmart grap at least 1 to 2 percent of mwrketshare then we will see it in serious light.

In Vietnam, i have seen people using it. This is a good start compared to Bphone but still far from reaching parity with Chinese phones even in our own market

bro it is not bragging it’s advertising.
Chinese posters even advertise here the ideal of communism, I don’t see anything wrong in promoting Vietnam products.

Cola Cola is a miserable sugar drink but thanks to ads it becomes famous.

It’s not BQ original. Not the same. Vingroup uses BQ patents and technology to develop and make own smartphones in own factories.

Everyone has to start from somewhere...

Vietnamese smartphones makers need time to grow up. Vietnamese carmakers have the same problem.

Why always so negative?

that's rebadge. No matter how you beautify it, it is basically a BQ phone in the essence, but bearing a new logo.

now it is the time to test if Spain people could love a rebadged BQ phone with a new logo from vn. People in Spain obviously dislike the BQ phone. Will they fall in love with a BQ phone using a vn brand?

Vingroup uses BQ patents and technology
BQ patent? Wait, what kind of patents BQ has?

I searched on the WIPO webpage (World Intellectual Property Organization).
Using the name "BQ", there are 10 matching records. Four from "BQ Media Lab", an Australia-based company; six from "BQ Toy", a Chinese toy company.

upload_2019-3-22_17-25-54.png

I then switch to another name: Mundo Reader, which according to the BQ website, is the company that behind the BQ brand.
upload_2019-3-22_17-29-4.png

But the WIPO website said, there is NO patents owned by Mundo Reader.
upload_2019-3-22_17-32-6.png

Now I switch to Xiaomi, the company that you think your crap can beat. The WIPO database shows there are 10,934 patents under Xiaomi.

Cannot understand why VINgroup acquires a company with NO technology, NO brand influnece, and NO market share. Maybe simply because it is an European brand, so people in vn could feel proud of it?
