How about 吳越國 in Shanghai and Zhie Jiang ?
文郎国 of Viets was in south China. was the first semi-legendary nation of the ancient Vietnamese people. It was ruled by the Hùng Kings of the Hồng Bàng dynasty.
I have been to. Cantonese language is not Futonghua of Han Chinese in North china.
吳越國 is a short-lived independent Han Chinese kingdom.
文郎国 Van Lang belongs to Tai-kadai people, it has nothing to do Mon-Khmer people (today Vietnamese) who only migrated to North Vietnam in big numbers around 9th century.
Both Cantonese and Futonghua are Sinitic language/dialect that evolved from Old Chinese thousands of years ago.
How come you dont post genetic charts? Because it might reveal that southern “Han” Chinese also shared genes with the ethnic Zhuang, etc.?
Anyway, most of us Viets are proud of our Mon-Khmer heritage, as affirmed by biendong. It seems like you think that is somehow offensive to us?
Southern Han Chinese did absorb some ethnic Zhuang people. They live next to each other.
I mentioned Mon-khmer to illustrate ancient North Vietnam weren't Mon-Khmer people.
It is your fellow Vietnamese members who like to make dumb ethnic attack, like Cantonese are not Chinese. Biendong just did that.
