Vietnam to purchase Russian COVID-19 vaccine

Not talking about conspiracy? Then why should those people cross the border without documents? Getting a vn visa is so effortless as one of the easiest thing on earth... And why should they go to vn in the first place? For those from China, my guess is #1, as tourists, #2, as technicians for Chinese companies in vn to train vietnamese workers, #3, criminals such as human traffickers, etc... for the first 2, they will have legitimate visa... Then only criminals left here...

Why should anyone come to Vietnam? Good question I don’t know. We are a developing country not a superpower our resources are extremely limited. Maybe we can ask two million Chinese that live permanent in Vietnam or 34,000 mainland Chinese that have work visa or thousands of Chinese illegal immigrants.
As the problem is some slip thru control net they are not checked by health authorities.

Come on, as I have said, getting a vn visa is as easy as **** for Chinese, you send your photos and you get your visa...These so called 'illegal immigrants' are either criminals trying to traffic women from vn to China or some low life garbage population every country has got... There are Americans sneak into Mexico as well, either for drugs or for women, or whatever, but 99% are other way round... If there are thousands of Chinese illegal immigrants in vn, there must be millions of vietnamese illegal immigrants in China, which probably is the case...

Don't you know covid test is not 100% accurate? Matter of fact, it only has around 50% accuracy for a single test...

I was just watching an interview on RT with the head of the company that produced the Russian vaccine, he said it was already given to more than 3000 people and they only showed mild side effects that are normal with many other vaccines, so yeah I would say the 3000 sample is pretty much all that is needed to ensure the safety of it.

So far the countries that will get the vaccine are: Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iraq, Vietnam, Venezuela, the Philippines and perhaps Mexico though that is not guaranteed.

I believe this vaccine has shown the scientific prowess of Russia.

He said there should be no more waiting because new studies have shown that Covid-19 is much more dangerous than previously thought because even among those who recover from it some of them will have reduced life span.
When asked about whether Russia's claim that the vaccine gives 2 years of immunity is accurate, he said the only way to make sure that most people would get 2 years of immunity is to continue testing the vaccine for 2 years but it would make no sense to wait for 2 years.

Testing vaccine on 3,000 people is great step forward. The fact Vietnam shows intend to buy the vaccine shows we have great confidence in Russia.
We are still behind in the development. Testing on mice is complete. Mice with vaccine shows immunity. Vietnam will conduct Clinical trial phase 1 on few people that is coming in October.

We registered to buy vaccines from Russia. Certainly without saying we will only buy it if the vaccine proves affective after intensive clinical trials. We have vaccines under development however time is precious it takes at least one more year.

India has also registered to buy this vaccine and same procedure will be followed in India as well.

VTV1 announces today that Vietnamese vaccine will be available by Dec 2020, while previous deadline was Oct 2021.

It seems that many countries have decided to take the short-cut in vaccine development.
