Myanmar-Vietnam business forum on November 30.
Meeting with Myanmar businesses and representatives, Sang said the experiences Vietnamese businesses have gained from the process of renewal and integration will be helpful to their counterparts in Myanmar. Myanmar businesses praised the Vietnamese market’s potential and expressed a desire to seek investment opportunities and closely collaborate with Vietnamese partners.
President Sang witnessed the signing of several investment cooperation contracts and agreements between Vietnamese and Myanmar businesses over the course of the forum.
President Sang met with Khin Aung Myint—
Speaker of Myanmar's Upper House—and
Speaker of the Lower House Thura Swe Mann in Nay Pi Taw on the same day. Sang congratulated Myanmar on its recent outstanding political and socio-economic achievements, especially following April’s landmark parliamentary by-elections.
