We all know the suitable term for this Vinfast stuff : "Proyek Mercusuar", a desperate attempt at attaining "prestige" in the "international stage", even with the fact that there's no selling point of this thing, nobody would buy it over any established car brand. The only way this thing could be sold, is when Vietnamese government ban all use of private vehicles except for Vietnamese "proyek mercusuar" Vinfast fake "domestic" product, and perhaps the people would still prefer to walk or using rickshaws instead of buying this car.
Indofood is already a global brand, penetrating the market of three or four continents, and surely their products have unique selling points and competitiveness over other brands that it basically monopolized the Nigerian market of 190 million+ people, in Europe there's even Indofood factory located in Serbia to make it easier to distributes their products across Europe. Doubt that Vietnam will come up with any global brand in the scale of ours', their only chance is by making some Pho instant noodle products perhaps? i'm very kind that i gave them an idea like this isn't it? these Viets can just copy the like of the Thais' Tom Yum (taste sour-spicy, but quite good) and ours' Mi Goreng (heavenly), but instead with Pho, this will be at least have more chance to succeed compared to this wasteful Vinfast fake bullshit that's not going anywhere.
