Vietnam, India sign nuclear pact

More than cost reduction, it would allow India to "collaborate" with Vietnam on PHWRs under cover of "collaborating for peaceful use of nuclear energy" which produce Plutonium as by-product, which Vietnam could use to develop nukes ,if and when it feel need to develop some nukes.

After Chinese armed Pakistan with nuclear weapons, there is a grudge that need to be settled by India.
Yes, lets make some Nuke warhead, VN got nuke capable Shaddock already. We r also allow to enrich uranium in our soil while even JP can not

As far India goes India do not plan to build light water reactors.

IPWR 900

This is more symbolism than anything. India is not a nuclear tech power, so not sure what you Vietnamese can learn from them. Do you trust the India building and operating nuclear reactor considered their latest "hilariously" INS Beta tipped over? This is a country that have disciplinary issue managing a lesser danger machine than something of much greater danger in nuclear reactor.

Being stupid is not a crime.

India is well ahead of China in thorium & fast breeder reactors.
It is capable of making PHWRs up to 700 MWe & PWRs up to 900 MWe are being developed.

I foresee nuclear disaster in making for Vietnam if Indians are helping them with such dangerous tech

It is clear that you can are well versed in writing in English. But can't you f*cking read? It was an accident happened due to docks. Accidents happen everywhere. What matters is how immediate the rectifications and what precautions will be taken to avoid such in future and mitigating critical ramifications.

Keep your delusional thoughts, it's good for you.

And 6 decades of safe operation shows the competence of our Nuclear scientists. Understood ?
I remember there were two worst nuclear station disasters happened in human history, one was in India and one in Russia,I didn't realize that was 6 decades ago...

Lol...look at the fatalities concerning the nuclear facility mishaps.

The submarine accident was a machine failure... But an accident is an accident. It did cost us lives.

So Fukushima has zero fatalities is not a disaster?

Are you stupid or something ?

Fukushima is an INES level 7 'Major Accident', same level as Chernobyl.

Just a photo with no detailed explanation?

You don't know how your fisherman found your stricken submarine No '361' before you even knew that something went wrong ?

Did Chinese blew up our own Sub? Because that's exactly what happened to the Indian Sub

One is Chernobyl and the other one is Fukushima. Indian reactor mishaps never resulted any lives.

There was one but it is not a nuclear reactor accident. It was during the process of scraping an irradiator.
