What's new

Vietnam becomes a economic colony of US and Japan under TPP

:D

So making negative comments on all the previous TPP threads was not satisfactory enough for some Chinese members, now they have to create a new thread just to make more insults and negative comments about Vietnam. I never knew the TPP could cause such butthurt.

globalization is good for the poor country to climb up, but to a point of middle income level.
when you are a middle income level country , you need to have your own tech, innovation, global brands, blabla, so as to clumb up.
but due to the TPP, your govt can't support or subsidize your own companies, this is the tricky part. Backward nations simply cant compete with international giants in business, so domestic support and subsidizing are very important.
Taiwan, South Korea and China all support or subsidize their own companies, that is why you see Samsung, LG, Hyundai, Huawei, blabla.

Besides, since your finance, energy, telecom sector can be acquired freely by US/Japan/Australia, blabla (they have huge capital)according to TPP, this is a great economy security issue. These can greatly influence your economy. So it means your govt and nation are controled by US/Japanese corporations and they can influence your own domestic politics.

About peasants. US agricultural products are among the cheapest in the world, with TPP, your peasants can't compete with US agriculture coporations, and so many Viet peasants will go bankrupt

TPP is one economy game of Vietnam.

Vietnam has signed FTA with EU . Russsia, S. Korea and others. Vietnam does not give up right over state own comapaniies whichs are related to our sovereignity secrity.

TPP chapters included: competition, co-operation and capacity building, cross-border services, customs, e-commerce, environment, financial services, government procurement, intellectual property, investment, labour, legal issues, market access for goods, rules of origin, sanitary and phytosanitary standards, technical barriers to trade, telecommunications, temporary entry, textiles and apparel, trade remedies.

In US, in recent year's expiration of federal agriculture policies gives Congress in US, an important opportunity to take a fresh look at the $25 billion spent annually on farm subsidies.

Same rule applied for all members. So we can do in the same way in Vietnam.

And vietnamese will remain cheap slaves for ever. That's the plan of the USA.They force you open your market, and give you some cheap sweets to make your local companies have no space to grow. How could Vietnam baby companies compete with giant US companies if they don't have some protected space to grow? It's like letting a 2 years old baby to compete with Mike Tyson. This time he will not bite off your ear.He will eat you alive. And Americans call this as good angel free competetions.LOL

what did China opened your market from 1972 ? Pls go back to culture revolution period in 1960s. :p:

TPP is different from FTA or other globalization rules.
with TPP, large international corporation is above national sovereignty.
