Two years ago, Sindh Assembly member Timur Talpur, while addressing the Sindh Assembly, admitted that he had bought votes from the PPP in the Senate elections.

Speaking in the Sindh Assembly, he had said that the member who sold votes to the PPP in the Senate elections is still sitting in the House.

Timur Talpur added that even your leader does not know that your vote also came to us. "I didn't want to talk about it, I was forced to talk about it," Timurtalpur said emotionally.

Opposition members protested Timur Talpur's statement, but he continued to speak.
Regarding Nusrat Sahar Abbasi, a Member of Assembly, she claimed that her husband was given a government job by the PPP. Advising Nusrat Sahar Abbasi, he said, "Stop spoon-feeding, you will get a ticket for the reserved seat again."
The Election Commission also took notice of PPP member Sindh Assembly Timur Talpur's confession of buying votes in the Senate elections. Timur Talpur was also summoned. The Speaker also took a recording of the speech from the Sindh Assembly but Timur Talpur escaped.
Timur Talpur's lawyer said that Timur Talpur's statement was taken out of context. Timur Talpur did not make any personal accusation. Timur Talpur spoke in general about horse trading.
Timur Talpur sought an unconditional apology from the Election Commission, which dismissed the case.
