VIDEO: Possible Pakistani UCAV Attack

I would say its probably from one of our more high end UAV; like Shapar or Burraq with telescopic lens. A smaller UAV would risk drawing fire, a bigger one far away would mean the enemy has no idea until it hits them.

It certainly is Arty fire.

@SUPARCO , awesome find, definitely footage captured from a drone. the brief blurring of the image after the mushroom cloud is a big give away.

If that's true, than it was probably launched by ground infantry units, as a way of getting surveillance data.

[before anyone says anything, even Indian infantry are capable of this. It's not exactly new technology, and armies around the world are equipping ground troops with small uavs.]

Having said all that, for some reason, I have doubts that this was taken by a drone.
This is video recorded by a quadrotor, and the strikes are by artillery.

I say quadrotor and not a fixed-wing UAV as the point of view remains constant for almost 3 minutes. This is only possible if the camera is near stationary in space OR the camera is VERY far away from the target. It is more likely it is a cheaper, more realistic quadrotor than an expensive, high-flying fixed-wing UAV with some very advanced optics.

Do note that in many of the sectors our positions are at higher ground due to which we have excellent observations of the area down below and many of the Indian positions are at an disadvantage due to that. This is one of them. This is no drone fire or video made by a drone, its a video / pictures captured from one of our positions which directly overlooks the Indian side and the level of explosions give an expression of being mortar fire. 60 / 81mm mortar systems may be in use or RR fire.

I once went to a forward position where you can clearly see Ponch city and we are at a very positive position there.

What's ironic is that despite all the traffic visible in the image, the Indians claim there were no casualties.

Well the pictures are of two different time periods, one is when the fire was happening the other with vehicles may be few days, a couple of days or weeks old.

And yes its not for sure that casualties will happen each time. There are underground / reinforced bunkers where the troops can take shelter in case of artillery fire. There is no enemy movement in the artillery strikes, which may suggest the Indians were in their bunkers and may have avoided casualties, but its may be.

Better Version.

At 00:51 seconds, the depot was hit. It took almost 26 seconds for the vibration to reach the camera (at 01:17 seconds). Can we calculate the distance between the depot and quadrotor?
