Lost, alone and separated from family, a stray cat must untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten city.

Stray is a third-person cat adventure game set amidst the detailed, neon-lit alleys of a decaying cybercity and the murky environments of its seedy underbelly. Roam surroundings high and low, defend against unforeseen threats and solve the mysteries of this unwelcoming place inhabited by curious droids and dangerous creatures.

See the world through the eyes of a cat and interact with the environment in playful ways. Be stealthy, nimble, silly, and sometimes as annoying as possible with the strange inhabitants of this mysterious world.

Along the way, the cat befriends a small flying drone, known only as B-12. With the help of this newfound companion, the duo must find a way out.

Stray is developed by BlueTwelve Studio, a small team from the south of France mostly made up of cats and a handful of humans.

I know, just a few hours long but I stumbled upon in the other day, yet to explore much but loved what I've seen so far.

yep but honesty speaking if it wasn't for the cat I would prob never buy it , also check the teaser for the indian "horror game"

looks promising

. . .
it's still under development

nice

developed by BornMonkie, an Indian studio based in Hyderabad India, with a team of 10. The game drew inspiration from atmospheric games like Bio Shock, Amnesia, and Tomb Raider. BornMonkie has been working on the game for the past 1.5 years. It has interesting mechanics like casting spells, performing rituals, and breaking enchantments. Throughout the game, the player will gain more and more abilities, giving the player a way to defend, slowly transitioning from horror to an action game. Story Dhruv is searching for his father, at the same time trying to figure out if the allegations about his father are true about killing entire villages and performing bizarre occult rituals. In his father's trial, he finds himself in these abandoned forts and chambers filled with Occult activities.

dont think I've ever played anything by an Indian game studio, good luck to them !

This is fascinating, it is giving me Resident Evil and Outlast vibes. Are there any clips of its gameplay?

It seems Indian game development is getting to shapes, nice!

In other news, Hidekta Miyazaki (from Souls fame) is getting Special Award during the CEDEC 2022 (CESA Developers Conference), pretty much close to a Lifetime Achievement.

NOW PLEASE GIVE ME ARMORED CORE 6 PLEASE!

Dragon Beating Gameplay:

Spider Demon Cutscene:

My impression is, graphics aside, I do think the gameplay looks a bit slow compared to From's Soulsborne, and that's a big matter considering SWK should be very agile. And they should add the abilty to jump at least.
