But now humans are not needed, automation can do 10 humans work without tiring , asking for leave or insurance.
While AI would take jobs from humans for maintaining these machines .

Only very high Specialist jobs will remain in fashion.

Remeber the more machine is used the more it will become efficient needing very little repair.

ChatGPT has so far failed to demonstrate that it's more than a big information trawl. The only thing impressive about it is the speed at which retrieves information.

It still remains to be seen if its capable of any original and independent thoughts and ideas. In fact some of racial political and religious biases are built into it. It's a big garbage in garbage out system.

You are thinking too linear. Chat GPT is just 1 tool , the technology which resulted in chat GPT is evolving exponentially.

Take example of cars , 10yrs back people were saying remote cars have failed as u cannot expect them to handle traffic & r only good for straight lines. And now auto cars are going to replace taxi drivers & truck drivers within next 10-15yrs.

You don't need human like thinking to replace humans in 70-80% types of work. Because we do repeated same work in our job. Which can be very easily learnt by softwares. U dont need excessive human like thinking for that.
My friend company has already setup packing robot which is doing 2 Lines work, replacing 8 people, 4 day time and 4 night time. And it need maintenance only once every 6 months. Non tech people will struggle in next decade.
