For a SAM target size does not matter only RCS dearie.

Testing SAM at 0.65 mach target is not a good idea


Tell that to Lockheed Martin, considering they tested PAC -3 against MQM-107 Streaker & BQM-74 Chukar both below Mach 1 in flight speed

I'll start. SAM is a Sattelite to Air Missile while BMD is a Ballistic Missile Defence system.

mate lets discuss it,

a jet can pull its max speed in a stright line with minimum load, for F 16 when its only full load of fuel & no payload will be flying above 2 Mach.
"G" value is the max gravitational force experianced by a pilot, which is at the time of turning or manuvaring the plane. while doing so the jet will bleed & loss of power will be huge. at this time the speed of the jet will drop drastically. so dose when the external payload of the plane increases.
though the target of the Akash was towed by Lakshya, its RCS is too small (obviously Lakshya do not have the power to tow a large object) so the final condition remains the zero sum game, large object with say 1.5 Mach speed, though comparitively easy to detect but with speed & manuvarability Vs the small object with little RCS defficult to lock on but with limitations on speed & manuvarability.

exactly, the same logic is applied by all major SAM developers to test their missiles. The logic makes sense to all the scientific community working in research labs worldwide. Well if it doesn't make sense to a kindergarten kid studying in a obscure school then, maybe work should be done at a primitive level rather then high level physics like wtf are roman numerals, what comes after A etc etc..

Guys forget the trolls. No one needs to prove anything to these fools. The fact India has made a system like this is by itself and incredible feat.



+ don't worry "Icewolf" of Akashi fails India still has the SPYDER system and I'm sure even you can't refute this system's capabilities.

Since you have mentioned PAF, well let me enlighten you, in the past you have fired your SAMs at PAF aircraft and even had a picture to prove it, I wonder who never knew what hit them
