Babur was turkic-mongol yes, he married women who were indigenous to the land which is called Pakistan now. As we're muslims and not low life hindus, there wasn't any discrimination between the muslims of different ethnicities. Persians married Sindhis, Mongols married Punjabis, Arabs married Afghans. Some who crossed the silk route stayed and settled in what is now Pakistan. That's how we all can have very different forefathers. There was a muslim scholar in the 1700's in Punjab which had a documented family tree dating back to the second caliph Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) which was deemed authentic by scholars of genealogy in saudi arabia.
