Veteran actor Pran passes away at 93

RIP. He was perhaps the most interesting and versatile villain in Indian cinema (or Bollywood atleast).

Growing up in Lahore, I watched the weekly Indian movie broadcast from Door Darshan - Amritsar. Since I could easily climb to the roof, I had the unpleasant duty to 'calibrate' the TV antenna (yes we had those once upon a time) so that both PTV Lahore and DD - Amritsar had best possible reception.

Ha ha..

Brought back memories of doing the same thing - turning the antenna for Sialkot and back to Jammu / Pathankot/ Jalandhar.

Most here will not be able to connect with such things.

RIP, one of my favourite, still now a days whenever I hear that voice on TV, I usually gets drawn to watch the movie even if I am doing some important work..he had a very recognizable voice...

I too felt the same when I posted them.

Both Pran & Bose were people who impacted us in our lives hence couldn't resist sharing the information.
