Vegetarians are 'less healthy and have a lower quality of life than meat-eaters', scientists say

Don't you think meat based food is better?
Meat based foods are better in the sense that they help one fulfil the daily dietary requirement of protein in a much easier way. But an average individual requires only about 50-60 grams of protein per day, which can be easily achieved for a vegetarian. Vegetarian athletes though, have to make lifestyle changes.

wow really? so u just concluded that all Hindus are vegetarians?
do one thing, travel and meet people.
I have. Except Kerala, Tamilnadu rest of the states I can see that the society is divided on the basis of caste. In our neighbouring Mangalore-Udupi, the low castes roll over the food wastes of the Brahmins. That kind of pathetic and backward vegetarian society, India has. Of course, I have known Hindu rich class who've started taking beef steaks. But, the commoners are brainwashed to lynch people for meat eating esp cow meat. They know only RSS IT cell Whatsapp and Facebook knowledge.

When you live in a society where daily meat/fish intake is the norm, the rest of India looks so bland with their choices restricted to veg. Even the non-vegetarians are restricted to Chicken or mutton. They don't know about beef, pork, turkey and other options. India is the country where broasted chicken restaurants are carrying vegetarian menu (Eg. Nandos). Some restaurants even keep separate area for veggies.

u r a funny fellow, ur status says that "u r secular" and yet here u are calling others bland, backward and other things just because of their food habit.
BTW, i studied in a school funded by RSS and here i eat meat as well....dont give a shit if people are veg or non veg.

We, infidels don't like Purdah/niqaab system in our country, as we see that as Human rights violation. - to which, you will also agree. Same way, Hindus being enforced vegetarianism due to religious sanctioning is also a Human rights violation. You cannot cage people in vegetarian backwardness.

Don't you get that meat/fish eaters are eating meat NOT to infuriate you, but because meat/fish based diet is far superior to veggie stupidity?

How can one argue with any idiot who pass on judgement without reason in a discussion. If you think that it is a superior diet, eat it. Who stops you. We shall eat what we feel is superior.

83 comments and 6 pages on a thread about one loose study about dietary habits.

says alot about human condition in the region.

There are many studies that contradict this. Given the high rates of obesity in meat heavy ccountries like the US and Mexico, this study should be taken with a grain of salt.
Obesity is a big problem in India too. We don't exercise much.

Meat's just sooooo tasty. You haven't lived until you've eaten week old fermented whale blubber... and that's probably because you died trying to stomach boiled sheep's head the week before:lol:. Scandinavians can take any meat or fish and turn it into the most rancid thing ever. Who seriously thought fermented fish was a delicacy:what:?

kjøttkaker is nice though. You really can't do meatballs wrong.

xsmall

I don't think I could make it a day as a vegetarian:undecided:.

2. You feel less horny all the time

Lol. That's not a health benefit:lol:.
