I do not wish to hurt but history tells otherwise. they have a strange religious zeal to destroy the
worship places, artifacts, and cultural icons of other people. They have this term for iconoclasts:
'butshikhan'. Incidentally, since it appears here the arabic word for icon, 'but' is derived from the
word 'Buddha', noticing the great number of icons of the Buddha in Asia.

In other horrifying incident from history, Caliph Omar commanded the destruction of the Library of
Alexandria with the decree that "If those books are in agreement with the (Holy) Quran, we have no need of them; and if these are opposed to the (Holy) Quran, destroy them." It is said that the first
set was burned and the other was thrown in the Nile, which was bloodied for many days

Anyway they will have to change their lack of respect for history.

Compared to Maldives, Pakistan is a lot saner place. I can't understand extreme hatred in majority of that country.

So they destroy "idols" in a museum because its un-Islamic but run their economy on people sitting on a beach in bikinis eating ham sandwiches and drinking beer. The one thing worse than a fanatic, the fanatic who has a price tag.

Ofcourse, the Bamiyan Buddhas were destroyed by India too , werent they ? And 27 Jain Temples were destroyed by Indian forces after travelling back in time in the back yard of Qutub Minar..
