Any van drivers around?

Is it similar to driving a car? just wondering...

I am thinking to buy a van for commercial purposes so just wondering if I will be as comfortable as driving an ordinary car

The newer vans are pretty easy to drive, except in high winds where the slab sides can cause some serious waywardness. Other than that, they can be slow to accelerate or brake if fully loaded or pulling a trailer. That is about all.

The LWB is actually more stable on the highway. In the city, you just have to remember to swing a little wide on the turns, that is all. You will probably have more issues in narrow streets due to the width of the van and the outside rear view mirrors than anything else.

There is hardly any parking space in London nowadays. Sometimes I get a lot of headache parking small car and this is such a beast

Well actually the purpose of this van is not only delivery. I got bored being so little active physically since 2007. So I badly need to engage myself in physical role. Forex helps me earn enough cash for source of living, the next thing is to start courier side by side and after 6 months or so... start a full time business somewhere in the high street. I have interest in Estate Agent or Hajj n Umrah service etc.
