Valentines is celeberated between 2 campanions you and your lover (girl friend/wife) not your mother or grand mother. You have Mothers day for this purpose or fathers day to give flowers to your dad.

Though that is also unislamic because Islamically speaking you have to take care of your parents whole year and do your best to keep them happy and not only one day u buy flowers for them and start expressing your love on the fixed day

We are an Islamic Republic and we would never allow such activities which are against our Constitution Simple is that.

Ok Sir; i agree... people should live with the laws of Pakistan. but can you tell me the exact order of the law about the Val's day? what kind of a punishment will people face if they dont abide the law?
Also can you tell me the description of the law about Val's day?

Here we make a mistake. we cant prevent the meeting of 2 independent, free people. and how will you understand if they celebrate that day?

lets imagine you arrested them... they were walking on street hand to hand. What if they say ''we go to hospital to visit a sick person'' ? how can we understand the intentions of people? do we have an ''intention-meter''?

i say again, in pakistan and afghanistan we muslims made a mistake and became a judge over people and interfered their privacy, we didnt respect their own wills and dreams. if someone wants to celebrate it, let them do it. if you teach Islam to your son and to your daughter i m sure they wont celebrate it. You cant earn anything with banning these days. more and more people will celebrate it after you ban them. if something is banned, that thing will look sweet and sympathic for people. i think you need to check your idea once more.

The Holy Qur'an says "Apne maa ki itni khidmat karo ke unko UFFFFF tak bhi naa ho" something like that...... so whatever extra care you want to do............ do the whole year instead of 1 day
