Uzbekistan looks to Pakistani ports

What economic benefits with Afghanistan? The Taliban in the past refused to talk on Durand Line, and they will refuse to talk about it in the future. This issue will always be there, regardless of who's in charge in Kabul, because of our weakness. No amount of economic bribery will convince them to accept the Durand Line as a permanent border.
Its not only about afghanistan dear. Its about using the Wakhan corridor and afghan territory to connect to the central asian region. We are the big brother in the region; educationally, industrially, agriculturally and militarily, so we should also act like one. History, culture and religion binds us all, so there is no need to be insecure. Instead we should devise a plan to create synergies combining individual strengths of the countries present in the region and the CPEC enables us to take a step in that very direction!

PS: We can examplify Europe where the border disputes exist even today, still there is no love lost. Some of the major ones are

Mont Blanc summit dispute - parties: France and Italy
Gibraltar - parties: UK and Spain
Dollart bay boundary dispute - parties: Germany and Netherlands
Olivenza and Vila Real parties: Portugal and Spain
Rockall Island parties: UK , Denmark and Iceland

Pakistan is the only viable Route (chahbahar is not a deep water port) for Central Asian access to warm waters every one knows it Russians knew it Indians know this was one of the reason of their Afghan Policy. This makes central Asia a natural place for us to expand our influence. Indians still have wet Dreams about getting access to central Asia via Capturing GB.

I have said it before we should divert our focus to this gold mine the raw resources of Central Asia and trade will one day feed the Pakistani Economy. This only must end in eventual Pakistani Political and Economic Domination in Central Asia. In this way even a Hostile Afghanistan will bulge under pressure. We will be free of threat to our Energy supplies in case of Conflict. We should give this as much importance as we give to CPEC.

This will also put Pakistan in Odds with Russia we must involve them in this endeavor to take full advantage with minimal clash of interest and not give our enemies Room.

I've had enough of being the bigger brother after losing tens of thousands of Pakistanis to prove how good we are to our misguided younger braders.

I am still waiting on what economic benefits we'll get from dysfunctional state such as Afghanistan.

We need to differentiate between a common person and the people who are being manipulated by some hostile countries for their vested interests. Painting Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde with the same brush would just be playing to the tune of our enemies.

Pakistan needs more ports like Gwadar in Balochistan.

to facilitate the QTTA.

No. Not yet. We are struggling to find traffic for Gwadar and you want another port.? Keep in mind building a port require billions of dollars and maintaining it requires hundreds of million $ each year. So for next 5-7 years I think we are good. In the mean time Gwadar will start functioning to it's 50%+ designed capacity. It will still take a decade to fully utilize gawadar port capacity.

All of central asia is welcome and especially fellow muslim countries. They should be given extra concessions for they are muslims and closest to us.
