"Secular" India has a very dismal record when it comes to violence against minorities.

Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, Dalits etc are very often victims of Hindu fanatics who get aways only with slap on the wrist, if at all. Most of the time these hindu fanatics enjoy a huge support and win majority votes.

In Pakistan, we also need to improve our record about protecting our minorties. But at least we are not voting for any fanatics to become our PM, CM etc.

For the kind information of the Pakistani posters , law & order is a state subject.Bijnore is located in western UP being a part of a state called Uttar Pradesh which is ruled by a regional party called Samajwadi Party ( Socialist Party ) dominated by an intermediate caste of the Hindus called Yadavs or Ahirs.

Samajwadi Party captured power in 2012 through an astute appealing to their traditional votebank of intermediate castes particularly the Yadavs & Muslims for whom the Samajwadi Party & the BSP - Bahujan Sanajwadi Party reneains the party of choice.

In the past two years , relations between Jats & Muslims have worsened manifesting itself in the Muzzafanagar riots in 2013 - 14 triggered by an eve teasing incident of a Jat girl by a few Muslim youth who in turn were confronted by her brothers .These brothers then got into a butter argument & killed one of the alleged eve teasers before being killed . That started off the Muzaffarnagar riots & numerous other minor conflagrations subsequently between Muslims in one side & mostly but not always the Jats on the other side.How & why this occurred is a lengthy subject worthy of a book or a separate thread .

Please don't display your ignorance & religious bias everytime by dragging Modi into every communal incident involving Muslims & Hindus .They have occurred in India before he was born & will sadly occur , hopefully with reduced frequency , even after he's gone .

They have freedom to do what they want
We only have economical issue which effects all Pakistanis with they are Muslims,christians or hindus
