Use of Chemical Weapons by India

During the recent heads cut off epic, India made a hue and cry about their soldiers being beheaded. Their army said, no Indian soldier can do this. Later the Indians themselves came out and said that Indian soldiers did it before as well. This would also be exposed by some Indians themselves at some stage. :)

India signed the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) in 1993 and ratified it in 1996. It abandoned its offensive CW program at some point prior to 1997. In early 2009, India completed the destruction of its CW agent stockpile in accordance with its CWC obligation.

Indians also believe in pink elephants. So, I don't know what's so hard about believing India possesses and has used chemical and biological weapons against the civilian population?

A country that has elected Hindu Extremist Governments again and again, massacred minorities, committed racial genocides against non-Hindus, no doubt such a hate filled nation possesses and uses weapons of mass destruction against civilians.

india never use any chemical weapons in kargil war, pakistan don't have any proof. in BBC reports says "pakistan said india use chemical weapons in kargil war". pakistan said only because pakistan is losing the war and they want international attention to stop the war. more international attention will gain only if there is any use of chemical/biological weapons. pakistan want US to favour it in that war and this was the only way for it.

Pakistan has also been accused of supplying chemical weapons or chemical substances to non-state actors. In the 1980s, the Soviet Union alleged that Pakistan had armed insurgents battling Soviet forces in Afghanistan with cartridges and grenades containing toxic chemicals. [12] In the mid-1990s, the deposed Afghan government similarly accused Pakistan of supplying the Taliban militia with chemical weapons. [13] However, neither of these claims could be independently verified. In 1998, Indian police officials reportedly seized two kilograms of cyanide and the anesthetic flouthene from Sikh separatists in the state of Punjab. Punjab police officials subsequently identified the Pakistani military's Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) directorate as the source of the chemicals, and alleged that the arrested militants intended to poison the water supply or to target a military or paramilitary base in the country. [14] There is no independent evidence to support the Indian officials' assertions.

Pakistan's record is much more dubious when it comes to Chemical weapons

However, India only declared its chemical weapon stockpile in 1997, four years after signing the treaty.

After many years of denying the existence of a chemical weapon program, India disclosed in June 1997 that it possessed chemical weapons. Few details are publicly available concerning Indian chemical weapon stockpiles, although Chinese researchers suggest that India possesses 1,000 tons of chemical weapon agents, mostly mustard agent, located at five chemical weapon production and storage facilities. Under the terms of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), which India signed in 1993 and ratified in September 1996, India must destroy 45 percent of its stockpile by 2004 and the remaining stockpile by 2007.

Buddy we have one of the biggest civilian chemical and pharmaceutical industries in the world, even if we destroy every single chemical weapon we can mass produce wide quantities in a short time if we so wished to do so it is very easy for us.
