US centom cheif recently said that Pakistan's concerns about India in Afghansitan will be addressed. He is going to come and talk to you on the similar lines. India is nowhere to be seen in the on going peace process. India is a nuisance in Afghansitan.

The U.S is sick and tired of the status quo, it has spent over a trillion and is no closer to achieving its strategic interests then 17 years ago

Its presence is a nicetie, it is on the periphery whilst the big players talk

We are now at our strongest in Afghaniatan and our influence within Afghanistan govt is highest ever.
No wonder even Pakistan Foreign minister was forced to accept the reality that India has a stake in Afghanistan.

Doval will be told the outcome of the peace talks. He will be given the task sheet by America. India is no where to be seen in this peace process and talks with Talibans. India hold no sway or leverage over Taliban, and talks is between Taliban and America, even bypassing the Kabul regime. India is no where to be seen and rightly so. There is no utility of India in this new picture emerging in Afghanistan.

America has chosen India to be its sugar babe in this region and tagged India along after 9/11 in Afghanistan and allow it to do all sorts of terrorism in Pakistan using Afghan soil. That game is now reaching its end because American neck is on line now. Not disputing America-India dirty nexus but when own survival is at stake, the alliances can go south pretty quickly.

Its America who is begging Pakistan for talks with Taliban, a fact amply clear from letter of Trump to IK. India has done zilch through out this peace process and talks, not India do not want to , but because India got no leverage or utility. Kabul regime is India friendly but they themselves have been sidelined as talks are direct between Taliban and America, as per wishes of Taliban who do not recognise Kabul regime and call them puppet of America. India got no card to play in this scenario. India itself is totally dependant on American patronage for its presence in Afghanistan, and the day Americans pack their bags, India will not spare a day to follow.
