I don't buy Aslam Baig's logic. And what is very disappointing is that a former Army Chief--a guy who had the best access to Pakistan's secrets and nukes--can be so casual and irresponsible. Gives you a dark perspective about the quality of both civilian and military leadership of Pakistan.

PS. USA will impose 'democracy-related' sanctions anytime, now and in the future, against Pakistan because that's the overt policy of American govt: Toppling of civilian govt with coups will have some, even if symbolic, sanctions.

Other day I was watching a talk show and one of the expert was suggesting that there must be a law or bondage for ex military officers about their code of conduct.

Well after watching the stunts of namunas like Him, Hamed Gul, AVM Shahid Lateef, I only feel a reinforcement of my view. Age changes a lot of things but not how you like to believe things. For God's sake he is the ex-Military Head If he speaks poop people get a fair reflection of how he used to run things when he was in charge.

Canada/US/UK i am not sure but Its true that TuQ made a visit to Iran before London where he met with senior Iranian clerics. This led to MVM lending their political support to TuQ. When I said it that TuQ is going to play a sectarian card, people were all guns a blaze but subsequent events proved that TuQ created a visible sectarian divide in Pakistan with Brelvis and Shias Vs Deubandis and Wahabis. This also means had TuQ been successful there would have been severe sectarian cleansing in Pakistan.
