a few weeks ago he thrusted himself into my line of fire when i was criticizing pan-turkics who kill and murder in chinese xinjiang. then he got in my line of fire when i was criticizing indians and tibetans who wanted to sell chinese tibet to hindus. and today he jumped in front of me again when i was picking on a bonzi.

this dude kept shadowing me. and more "patriots" like this dirt blood northeast (is he a manchu? mongol? tibetan? all the same thing to me because they all subscribed to the deviant cult of lamaism), and china won't even have a common border with pakistan any more.

What air power does is to deny the enemy an avenue of attack. Keep in mind that for thousands of years, battles have always fought in two dimensions (X,Y). Air power, even as limited in WW I to mostly recon missions, enabled the leaderships to make longer term plans and to alter existing ones more quickly. When air power finally matured in WW II, its role was to support ground objectives, as in territorial gains and security of those gains. What air power lacks is persistence and persistence can happen only with ground forces, and this includes the navy.

I have grown up watching Americans go to war here n there and the MO has been the same. Pound the enemy's ground forces from the air after gaining air superiority, then when only pockets of ground forces are left then move in.

Americans have never fought ground forces head on without first significantly diminishing them - not that I'm saying they should.
