can you guys explain in simple words ?

I am not WindJammer or Bratva, but I'll still do the honours.
Targeting Pods provide the pilot with either a TV or Infrared image of ground targets and can be used to lock on and engage them with stand-off munition. Also useful for recce. New ones can share target co-ordinates with other aircraft or even ground stations (anti-armour units).

Basically speaking, you want to get LITENING, but Sniper will do.

They work like FLIR ...

Sniper pods are use for air to air and air to ground targets tracking and hitting the targets while remaining at high altitude ...

snipers pods gives accurate thermal images through which pilot able to see what's happening in ground and which thing is to target

the sniper pods are for the block 52+ f16's which you only have 36 of them so with the current 22 and the 15 that makes 37. So im guessing one pod for replacement incase one pod is damaged and has to be sent to the US for repair.

to clarify pakistan already has 22 sniper pods and it wants another 15 more advanced sniper-pods and upgrades for the 22 sniper pod to be upgraded on the same level as the 15 new ones.

Sharing live feed of Sniper with Ground control and field commanders might be one of the upgrades included in this iteration. PAF was interested in datalinking C-130 live feeds with ground control and field commander but project got cold feet. Perhaps this time, it will be actually done

Alongside Sniper XR, Goodrich DB-110 also provides live feed and targeting. Pakistan already has these two pods. What I dont understand is the nature of this upgrade when we already have this capability?
