USA & Australia Sign Space Surveillance Agreement

Yes one lecture indeed but given to 100 students.LOL

So because a lecture was given to 100 students, that means it's fact? lol.

The lecture was filled with opinion, not fact. The lecture was about the future, the future hasn't happened yet, so how can predictions of the future be fact?

Yeh "racist" gets called alot around here. Half of the people using it don't even know what it means or when to use it.

Also a funny thing i noticed, he has the Australian Aboriginal flag as one of his country flags.

I doubt he is Aboriginal.

Space wars will be unavoidable i think, it's only a matter of time before China goes crazy.

Dw i noticed it , but the reason its there is obvious.

more than half of the satellites are owned by america which means chinese have more birds to shoot.:sniper:

Does that make it OK? Everyone deserves the use of space. Creating space debris is like dumping in your own living room.

I'm sure China (and everyone else) wants to launch a bunch of satellites in the future. If low-earth orbit is swarming with debris at 20,000 miles per hour, it'll become useless, and remain that way for possibly centuries.

America have more satellites than than all the countries of the world combined. Why complain?
When Chinese didn't shot their weather satellite there were approximately 13000 debris.Out of the estimated 600,000 objects above 1 centimetre (0.39 in) diameter, only 19,000 can be tracked as of today. This leads to wide uncertainties in the estimated quantities of debris, and the predicted path of their orbits. But this claim that only Chinese are the culprits are not fair, because American space program is well before the Chinese space program have established.
What about all the satellites that America possesses that in future will become junk. And what about the American test of a weather satellite shot.Doesn't that make space debris.Claiming that only Chinese are the culprits is not justified because American is the one that is the most responsible for this junk to be up there.

All I said was that exploding stuff in space is irresponsible. I'll stand behind that, whoever the culprit is.

It is a simple matter to test an anti-satellite system without creating extra debris. You have it approach a "target", and when the fuze is in range, rather than explode, you have it send a signal to earth that the fuze was actuated. Test complete - no extra space junk.

Since "exploding stuff in space is irresponsible" and since the US has exploded the most stuff in space, that makes US the most irresponsible space nation on Earth--by your reasoning Chogy.
The fact of the matter is China would never have developed ASAT weapons unless the US already had to them to threaten China with. By pursuing unchecked military hegemony, the US has made itself and all others less secure. It's the curse of all hegemons.
