what i understood from your comments is that its okay to invade any country and kill civilians for national interests, but that is against human rights, and your country is guilty of that.
I don't have any problem with pursuing national interests as long as innocent people are not killed, and i hope next superpower nation actually works for betterment of the world rather than destroying it for "national interests".

So by the same logic, if Turkey supported Germany in WW1, is it responsible for the millions of deaths in Europe? And Japan supported Germany in WW2, so it is responsible for the Holocaust. We could extend this logic even further, just to keep the comparison valid. What is truth for one is the truth for the other too.
