I agree, but in the recent past 5 years army is trying to be on back seat of politics ...

Army might have soft spot for Imran Khan as most of the intellectual and educated community do have for IK but they are not behind him ...

If they would have been behind him then there were numerous ocassion where army could have intervene to provide him support ... during Dharnas, during SC verdict,, during model town incident and even now ...

As of this point of time army is confined to controlling foreign policy and security situation .. nothing else ...

Imran Khan dharnas are encouraged by the Army.

Removing Nawaz Sharif is hard because his power base is from the Punjab heartland.

No his Dharnas are encouraged by the people and his self stubborn attitude ...

I am not a PTI voter,, I am convinced that IK lacks the maturity and temperament of a nation's leader but I am completely convinced that his agenda is correct ...

NS political base is Punjab representing 50% of the Pakistan population but it is more limited to urban or northern Punjab i.e. Lahore ... Southern Punjab, Faislabad, Sialkot are not in that much favor ... Even in Lahore there is a strong support for PTI ...

But bottomline is a crook is a crook,,, he has support or no support if he is corrupt he has to face the law ..
