So Turkey being told they wont be a NATO member soon.

Maybe Turkey already considers itself out of NATO and working on alliances for a post NATO Turkey.

I doubt they will kick Turkey out of NATO,probably just try to isolate them.If they do kick the them out by force Turkey should immediately remove itself from nuclear non-proliferation treaty.
