US violates Pakistan Airspace

Just saw the ticker on Geo news, US fighter jet entered pakistan airspace at torkham border. Aircraft stayed in pakistan airspace for few minutes and left.

PESHAWAR: Two aircrafts of Nato forces in Afghanistan on Wednesday evening violated airspace of neighbouring Pakistan by infiltrating into its boundaries by several kilometers.

Intelligence sources told Dawn.com that the aircrafts penetrated into the Pakistani airspace through Pak-Afghan Torkham border.

The aircrafts returned back to Afghanistan after flying for several minutes within Pakistani boundaries without causing damage or getting involved in any other violation of rules.

This is however not the first occasion when Nato aircrafts violated Pakistani airspace. Similar incidents have been witnessed in North Waziristan, Kurram, Mohmand and Khyber tribal agencies in the past.

On November 26, Nato helicopters attacked Salala military checkpoint in Mohmand Agency at Pak-Afghan border, killing up to 28 Pakistani troops.

The incident led to rough bilateral ties between US and Pakistan and prompted the latter to shut the vital supply route for Nato troops fighting in Afghanistan.http://dawn.com/news/1029733/nato-aircrafts-violate-pakistani-airspace

Airforce is not only to be blamed but so does the Govt. as in our Defence Policy - US is still an Ally, and voilations are considered non-hostile.

dude seriously does this joke of an excuse even makes sense to you ?, hey look they are our allies (sada yaar ei) so hey let us just put our guards down & sing, dance & play
irrespective of allies or not, one has to always guard ones frontier at all times period. we lost siachen for this type of nonsense assessment only ( the ever famous, not a blade of grass grows there logic), the fact of the matter is that ever since 9/11 the very fear of the protection of Pakistan's nuclear weapon's from a possible raid from nato & u.s have always been at the back of everybody's head is enough of a valid reason to protect our western borders even more "rigorously" after all kahuta is not very far from abbotabad ! I am not saying to shoot down the intruding jet of course not, but at least lets not come up with such silly excuses either.

oh Allah for once please listen to our prayers & give us "intelligent" army general's ameen.
