Pakistan should take this ship down, enough is enough, they will pay the price , indians are getting happy on this news, but they will pay the price of this as well ...

One nuke on this ship will keep the US on its place...

No dude, this is to remind the South Asia for American super power.
Even 65-70 Miles away from gawader is international water, But it is not far from Pakistan. Just some miles away.
We should open Nato supply routes otherwise they will attack on Pakistan with full force.

lol, we shoud not open NATO supplies at any cost, we know how to defend our country, BTW its not NATO supply, the name is only being used its US supplies .... so if US wants then open was it the only solution and we will make US the living hell on this planet

For a moment lets forget the military absurdity of what you are suggesting along with the devastating consequences for Pakistani Military and civilian in terms of the response of USA. Even without that, have you thought of what will happen to Pakistani coastal areas including marine life if a Nuke is exploded 70 nm away from them?

You should exercise your cognitive abilities more often than you use your motor ones.

Hmm..

Wanting to nuke an AC carrier 70 NM form own shoreline.. and because its moved closer ?

Possesing Nukes is a serious responsibility, such thoughts do not display any.

It only helps reinforce concerns the world has for responsible nuclear states.

no place for since fictions, no reality in all these

there are always limits of things, Paksitan is not Iraq or Afghanistan, India and US knows this , so before anything becomes a reality , watch your steps ...

On 9 April 2012, the Navy announced that the Enterprise and her group, Carrier Strike Group Twelve, would be assigned to join the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) in the Persian Gulf. The mission was described as routine, not a response to a specific threat. Upon completion of this mission, the Enterprise is scheduled to be deactivated (Fall 2012).[42]

Usually at least one a/c is at North Arabian Sea to keep Pakistan in check but moving this close signals something (if this news is true). Perhaps, US is getting ready to physically threaten pakistan to open NATO supply in the future.

In extreme case, a ground invasion to secure a route from Gwadar port to Afghanistan may be on the cards.

Pakistan has to be more careful and take necessary counter measures now.

ROFLMAO........A Ground invasion of Pakistan!!! What a hilarious joke!!

If anything the A/C carrier requires help from Pakistan, why else would they anchor so close that even NASR can target them when they can operate from 400km's away to threaten Pakistan, if at all???

Situation was already very close to a full scale invasion during Osama raid.

It may not be as far-fetched as you think.

This is the second time you have used the words ground invasion and it makes me wonder if you are actually serious. Mate, rag tag and very ill equipped Talibaan have defeated NATO, what on earth would make the US think they can invade Pakistan? That too with a few thousand soldiers?

You need to get very real, very fast!

A Nuke this close would also threaten Karachi, Quetta and perhaps 70-80% Pakistan with radiation along with parts of India, which I am sure the Indians wouldn't appreciate very much. Besides, a Nuke on a US Carrier that has, so far, shown no signs of aggression would prompt a US attack.

Even if they attack the carrier can be taken down with conventional methods.

hmmm this makes me think that something fishy is going on over here. "US enterprise is scheduled to be deactivated by Fall 2012". Deactivate or Destroyed by Pakistan?? Bringing a ship near the Pakistani waters which will be put out of service in fall 2012 could mean that they would even consider it to be destroyed by Pakistan and then start a war with us? Just a question coming in my mind.
Pakistan has got enough to bring this ship down by even using a tactical nuclear weapon. tactical nuke will not have that effect on us like some neighbors are mentioning.
