You do know that Imran allowed America to use Pakistani airspace as well, right?
Yup
But during ghani regime

Since Taliban takeover last September no US plane used our air space
Even 2 days ago Imran khan himself said if Taliban allow US for drone attacks in Afghanistan then Pakistan can provide air space but not without their consent.

In this situation seems like Talibans are OK with strike

Ab samajh agaya kashmir 74 saal baad kyun azaad nahi howa. 3 jangon ke baad bhi.
They want to keep the issue alive. If it's solved then the budget of army will be reduced. International lobby is also involved in this as the arms and ammunition sales to Pakistan will also be reduced.

It is a shameless move.

Pakistan will have to bear the brunt of blowback from the Taliban/AQ groups and ‘do more’ from the West.

What a dumb move from the establishment.

It's why IK was removed, he was the only one who stood up for Pakistan

The rest are sell outs

Can Pakistan track the reaper drones with it's existing radars?
May be the Yanks have done the strike without the proper Authorization by PAK Army..

Say the Pak air space is used, and that too with Pak being in the loop, to kill tne AQ boss. I am pretty sure the Taliban is OK with it - as long as their hold on Afganistan remains firm - for they have no other options. Picking up a fight with Pak is no option....
Backstabbing through modes of terrorism is always an option.
See PAK has also backstabbed it's not so official allies before for gaining western patronage and wealth.
Under heavy pressure anyone can backstab.

Jab drone ata hai toh dollars ata hai, Jab zyada drone ata hai toh
zyada dollar ata hai.

Jab drone ata hai toh dollars ata hai, Jab zyada drone ata hai toh
zyada dollar ata hai.
Unfortunately that seems to be the case here.
Should there be any consequences the innocent general public of Pakistan will become the real sufferer.

Family members of Afghanistan’s most-feared Taliban mafia clan dubbed “The Sopranos of Terror” died in the US missile strike on Al-Qaeda boss Ayman al-Zawahiri, sources say.
The 71-year-old militant chief was killed in two precision Hellfire missile strikes on the balcony of a posh house run by the head of the Haqqani extremist crime syndicate in a CIA operation last weekend.

  • But despite US claims no civilians were killed in the “ninja” Hellfire hit, sources say several Haqqani relatives were killed by the missiles that hit Zawahiri as he stood on a balcony.

He was staying at a home run by Sirajuddin Haqqani, head of the powerful network of the same name and also number two in the Taliban, which took over Afghanistan last year as the west evacuated.

  • The missile strike is now believed to have killed relatives of the powerful clan boss and it is also believed the heads of the Haqqanis have fled Afghanistan, prompting a power struggle.

Sources have told the Mirror that the aftermath of the Zawahiri hit has sparked a potentially violent split between the Haqqanis and another Taliban clan the Yaqoobs based in Kandahar.

  • Afghan Taliban leaders, who have denied knowing that Al-Qaeda veteran was staying in Kabul, are also bracing for a wave of violence after today’s Friday prayers today in protest.

The problem is the "Bajwa Doctrine", it has caused untold damage to Pakistan. The reasons and working of "Regime Change" is obvious to everyone now. Without a doubt Bajwa directly involved.
New development to ban PTI and disqualify IK is part of the same Regime Change. It is clear as day and night.
America is getting what its wanted, drone strikes are part of the access, there must be other demands , which would become clearer as times goes by.

Too add to this

And, in an area of the world torn by poverty, food insecurity and rampant corruption, the US$25 million (£20.5 million) reward to uncover al-Zawahiri's safe house would have been a strong incentive.

Anything for money Pakistan army for hire

More drone strikes happened during 3 years of Raheel sharif than almost 6 years of Bajwa, just saying.
