US to provide 62 MH-6 'Little Bird' Armed Helicopters to Afghan Army

So, what is best for Afghan people? to be well handled or try to handle the best handlers. Actually it is the US who tried to do the latter.
According to my opinion Taliban government is the best option for afghan people because they can easily handle indian and iranian influence in afghanistan.

This could be a nifty little addition in the Afghan air fleet.

I know, so what the heck are they doing there? they should either help or leave.,I hope they will at least help construct the infrastructure of the country.
Sorry, but the people of Afghanistan do not care about building up the infrastructure of their country. It's just tribalism and local warlords there. We've tried but they just don't care.

@Sher Malang Will it be addition to 17 MD530 helis ordered recently ? If yes then MD530 + AH6 fleet will be around 80.

Afghan Air Force to get 17 MD530F Cayuse Warrior - Helicopter Database

Those will be later armed too and I don't know the exact figures because the initial contract was for 54 MD530s.

Taliban can better handle afghan people but it is difficult to handle Taliban. :D

Old days are gone when Afghans were fedup of mujahideen and Taliban had the opportunity to take the power like mint but now Taliban only rules goats in deserts. Plus a few of geniuses like your kind self is no wiser than the US armed forces and US government which are committed to arm Afghan security forces so stop derailing the topic.

Pakistan should have tried to purchase these babies as well but I guess budget does not permit. Anyway great acquisition for the Afghans.

Why would Afghans go for old *** jaguars over the Tucano? Does that 9 mil each include the upgrades or would they have to pay for that separately? :o:
well for one Jags are not old scrap
infact India has inducted 47 Jaguars since 1999, with the last ones being inducted in year 2008.

India is upgrading 120 out of their 140+ Jaguars so as to ensure that they remain in service till 2030
The upgrades include Brand new engines with higher thrust, Darin III Avionics upgrade, integration of MICA AAM, Paveway III LGB, Harpoon Missiles. The upgrade will cost IAF 1 Billion USD for 120 Aircrafts

All I am saying is that India will otherwise be phasing out some 20-24 Jaguars which other wise could serve some friendly country after upgrade

LOL. Wise option for US armed forces is to quit Afghanistan. BTW It has also been reported that the Taliban now control up to 64% of Afghanistan. BOL afghan forces. :omghaha:
