To answer the question though, Hezbollah's main industry is now making body bags rather than rockets, Assad is using them up. When your enemy is fighting and over streched is the perfect time to open a new front on them. The Lebanese would be happy to get rid of a defacto Iranian army on their soil, Israel would be happy to clear them out. Perfect time actually to assist as many Hezbollah as possible to become martyrs.

Lebanese don't mind Hezbollah. They are quite pro Iran. On the contrary, they are quite hostile to Israel. They don't even let people having Israeli citizenship enter their country.
