US threats: A blessing in disguise for Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The Americans are facing the worst kind of humiliation in Afghanistan. They are failing despite the US military might, its international dominance and spending of hundreds of billions of dollars. And to its bad luck its failures too are such that the superpower has no face to show.
In a usual American way of resorting to lies and cover up stories of so-called human intelligence, the US has now frustratingly launched an assault on Pakistan. But dirty tricks may not work for it every time and everywhere. Humiliation seems to the destiny of the US.
They say that every ascendance has a descent, and God willing the US fall is very close. What could be more shameful for the Americans that over a hundred thousands of US-led Nato troops, equipped with the modern weapons, have been reduced like rats by merely thousands of Islamic warriors within Afghanistan.
It is receiving dead bodies of its troops in Afghanistan more than before. With its economy, already in shambles after having being overburdened by its wars in foreign lands, the US is still forced to spent over $110 billion a year in Afghanistan war that it has already lost.
The arrogant Americans had come to Afghanistan with great hopes. They were desirous of leaving Afghanistan as a champ. Through their misadventure in Afghanistan, they wanted to terrorize and haunt every other nation in the world, but all their plans failed.
Instead of emerging as a champ, the Americans are getting a humiliating thrash. They had also dreamt of depriving Pakistan of its nuclear bomb by causing internal chaos and weakening the only nuclear power of the Islamic world. But despite pushing its so-called war on terror inside Pakistan, it is far more doing any harm to Pakistan nukes. No matter whatever, legitimate and illegitimate, the Pakistani establishment did for the US since 9/11, but today it is the Pakistan Army and ISI, which have emerged as the biggest obstacle in implementation of Americas great game, which is aimed at destabilizing and denuclearising Pakistan.
It is the desire of the US that Pakistans present military leadership and ISI should continue serving the American interest like what Musharraf have been doing in the past for Washington, even if it hurts the Pakistans interest. But this too is not happening. The devious desires of the Americans are not translating into reality. Their anti-Islam and anti-Pakistan plans are not taking any shape. They are against General Shuja Pasha because he is too blunt in its interactions and does not get impressed by the American arrogance.
They must also be upset with General Kayani, who is not prepared to launch military operation in North Waziristan for the pleasure of the Yankees.
The US is angry because the ISI has started strict monitoring of the movement of Americans inside Pakistan. The CIA network established in Pakistan after 9/11 too is on target of the ISI. When the ISI will not dance to the tunes of the CIA, when Gen Kayani would not launch military offensive in North Waziristan and when the free hand given to the Americans in the past was being withdrawn, this all was bound to make the arrogant American mad.
The timing chosen by Washington to target the ISI and Pakistan was perfect as the divisions within the Pakistani society were too conspicuous. But to further drive the Americans mad, Pakistani nation today stands united against the US onslaught. How the Pakistani political leadership has demonstrated during the last two days is surely a pleasant surprise for all the Pakistanis.
Notwithstanding our complaints against the political and military leadership and the ISI, the people of Pakistan stand united with their government, army and the ISI on this issue.
One is indebted to the Yankees for hurling the latest charge sheet against Pakistan at a time when we direly needed unity. It is now for the Pakistani leadership to exploit the American aggression in the best possible manner to eliminate terrorism, suicide bombings and extremism within Pakistan.
Here is a chance to prove to our own people, who have resorted to extremism and terrorism out of frustration that our army, ISI and the government are not working on the US agenda! This is an opportunity to stop minor kids from becoming suicide bombers and reform the perverse minds that are using these children to kill their own people.
This is an opportunity for Pakistan to fully implement the otherwise forgotten unanimous resolutions of the parliament of 2008 and 2011 so that Pakistan could be freed from the US subjugation. We have now the chance to become a vibrant nation.
