US threatens Republic of Turkey with Sanctions unless Terrorist Brunson will be handed over to US

That's really strange to see this talk from US to NATO ally Turkey, imposing sanctions on NATO ally

Agreed, I have no idea who this detained man is or what his condition is, but to threaten large sanctions publicly doesn't make sense. I'm sure this matter could have been handled privately.

You end in situations like this (where whatever you do it means you are f*cked up in the end) when you have unrealistic ideas about yourself and your own powers and position in the world politics and economy and especially when you don’t have the balls to back your words up.

Expect USD to hit 5 liras by tomorrow and in the meantime that Pastor to be released in the comming weeks without much noise in the Erdogan Medias or from his puppets around the country no matter how much they talked about it in the last weeks.

.
The more they want Brunson released, and taking extreme measures to do so, the more I think Brunson is guilty.

If you put US harboring FETO on top of this, it seems more and more likely that the US was behind the failed coup a couple of years ago. Personally I am already convinced the US was behind the failed coup (because of harboring FETO), but this just further confirms my suspicions.

Our FM : "Mind ur own business" to the US..

Our government is not rational but emotional, which will lead a disaster for Turkey. US does not understand from emotional answers, they need to be beaten up with a stick; aka "sending US army presence away from Turkey for a month" will be enough for them to behave.

If we keep giving them emotional principle answers, they will not bother to push on us more until we are economically done. We need to change our emotional retards in government and find some rational people before it's so late o_O

.

The things we should do;

1) Send Brunson back into US
2) Give US 48 hours to leave İncirlik Airbase entirely, banning Turkish airspace for US army aviation.
3) Start bombing PKK terrorists in east of Euphrates
4) Talking Abadi to kick US out of Iraq, and we won't fill Ilıca Dam for next 5 years.
5) Moving our land units in Fish Khabur triangle in Iraq to cut connection between KRG and syrian PKK.

If not, then we deserve to be f@cked up deep in the a$$.

I disagree with nr.1

keep him in turkey and let him rot in jail and all other 4 points are valid.

. .
keep him in turkey and let him rot in jail
Yeah you are a genius. What benefits we will get by rotting him in the jail? It will just give justification for US to impose heavy embargo to turn our economy into stone age o_O

You are also one of the emotional ones i described in my previous post. There is benefit to kick US out of İncirlik, there is benefit to cooperate with Iraq against US military presence, there is benefit to bombing PKK in east of euphrates;

there is no benefit to rot bruno in jail. It's rather an emotional decision.

.
the guy is a cia agent lol nah u wont receive that special treatment u will remain in turkish custody for breaking turkish law thats what rational thinking is all about mr senturk. im all in for breaking the alliance with the americans they are useless. There is no reason being allied to them.

and the F-35 by the way is history.

.
Who cares if one terrorist has been sent to US? Who can guarantee that terrorist bruno will not shot dead in US after a month by a random "gangs"? You still couldn't point any national interest by making him rot in jail, and i would love to see one.

Let's brace for sanctions.

26 July 2018, Statement of the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Hami Aksoy, in response to a question regarding the social media messages by President Trump and Vice President Pence of the United States of America

Turkey is a sovereign state with a deep-rooted democratic tradition and political order which upholds the supremacy of law . No one can give orders to Turkey and threaten our country. The rhetoric of threat against Turkey is unacceptable.

In order to improve its relations with the United States, our country has displayed necessary political will and did its part more than enough. It is impossible to accept the U.S. Administration’s threatening messages, which totally disregard our alliance and friendly relations between our countries.

As regards the Brunson case, necessary information has been provided to our U.S. counterparts on various occasions and it has been clearly expressed that this issue is totally within the competence of the independent Turkish judiciary.

We invite the U.S. Administration to leave aside this wrongful rhetoric and come back to the existing framework of constructive dialogue that we have been engaged in so far.
