US: There will be consequences for China's South China Sea militarization

.
Both Japan and the US have free internet, democratic elections, and can rally and have demonstrations against either Trump or Abe. China has none of these.

Hehe, Japan can be watchdog of anyone, who know when will you chang to be enemy of USA, you also had attacked US. You are somebody?:coffee:

The US military should preposition 1,000+ cruise missiles in the Western Pacific, as well as increase other weapon stocks. LRASM missiles should also be accelerated to the WP. That'd be a good start.
300 Cruise missiles is enough for China, don't worry, China is very weak.

We don't need these. we just need to improve our quality of life.
What we need is work and higher income And that's what our government can do right now.
Look at how the U S promotes democracy in the Middle East.
Japan's economy has stagnated for almost 20 years
Now there have been serious contradictions and opposites in American society

That is respectable enough if China keeps it to themselves. China is a very big country after all so some control is pardonable. But 9 dash line, claims on Taiwan and the Senkaku islands, arm twisting Vietnam, etc. is outward activity. Naturally Japan sides with the US regarding China's outward activities. China should share the South China Sea with Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Brunei, and do so by taking a leadership role of splitting zones and thus dropping the 9 dash line claim. China should stop claiming Taiwan as the Taiwanese don't identify themselves as Chinese. And China should stop sending Chinese Coast Guard ships into Senkaku territorial waters.

On the issue of the south China sea, we will negotiate with neighboring countries. at present, the situation in the region is very stable. every country in the region urgently needs to develop its economy. China can help them. The US and Japan are not parties to the south China sea issue. please leave. You will only bring trouble to the region

"watchdog" or "vassal" are terms used by those that either don't know the common security interest between Japan and the US, or intentional just say so because a combined US-Japan force is unbeatable by China. Yeah US and Japan had a war.

Chinese posters here seem eager to want to have a turn in a war with the US. Now that is some baka thinking... Well doing it the slow none-war way is fine and fair competition, but expect it from the Japanese side as well.

Battle of Iwo Jima, well a movie on it, not going to post actual footage of it.

The other parties invite the US and Japan because they need more power backing them in order to strengthen their on negotiation posture with China. Without the US and Japan, then negotiations would be heavily biased towards China. Besides, if China controlled the South China Sea, they could use that control as a from of pressure on trade that goes through and towards Japan. That trade includes oil and natural gas for Japan. So no, Japan will not leave, nor will the US. The South China Sea is international water, respect that by dropping the 9 dash line claim.

The Chinese here know they can't defeat the combined forces of Japan and the US. It's why they have to resort to berating the US-Japanese relationship.

Add India, too. That's where your contribution becomes vital (other than democratic pollution)

OK, Einstein, as you wish :enjoy:

11-dashed line remains. It is right in the Constitutions of both sides of China, PRC and ROC.

SCS is being further improved, including security arrangements as mentioned by the Indian OP (you might be Indian, as well, judging by the way you slowly coming out of the closet :frown:), as well as preparing to sign a DOC on SCS with the ASEAN.

We identify ourselves more as Chinese than Okinawans identify themselves as Japanese or Hawaiians as USers.

China continues to increase air and naval patrol of the territorial waters and features in the East China Sea.

Japan gets warmer to the idea of joining the BRI and, in fact, Hatoyama is already on board of the AIIB.

***

The fact remains intact: if Japan goes out of line, it will be the US to punish it, even before China can chip in and claim some stakes.

The US did that before. Nothing new. They just need to repeat.

What remains for Japan (not the people, but the Iron Triangle of Bureaucracy, media and Business, the slaved Institutions of Japan) is to be loyal to the bone. Then, maybe, just, maybe.

.
Of course there is a consequence to US provocation in SCS: first US was stirring up trouble by encouraging Vietnam and Philippine to take tough stand against China over SCS which pushed China to reclaim and build these islands without militarized its. After hopelessly saw that these Nations gave up, Americans then use freedom as navigation as excuse to militarize SCS with their warships, bombers and aircraft carrier patrol, and the consequence of these acts are push China to militarize these islands with SAM and anti-ships missiles as self defense.

China is waiting US next moves to act consequently.
You have a logic of a humorless comedian. Why should we need America to encouraging to take a tough stance on China? Do we need anyone to say to us “stand up against aggression?”

In contrast we encourage every nation on earth to support Vietnam against aggression.
